There are tons of Native American Tribes in the United States. I knew a large amount of them were historically in Texas at one point or another but I had no idea that only three federally recognized tribes are headquartered in Texas today. In this episode I give a little bit of history on tribes that were significant to Texas in one form or another and then jump into the three tribes in Texas today.

Michael Mitchell is now an Independent Mortgage Loan Originator in Wichita Falls, TX (themichaelmitchell.com). He can do mortgages anywhere in the State of Texas but he has a passion for history and stories.
He has served in a few professions including a 5th, 6th and 7th grade Science Teacher for five years. He also worked professionally for the Boy Scouts of America for 13 years in West Texas and Northwest Texas.
